Outside the villa, in the luxerous Garden, lies the swimmingpool. Just the right size, deep enough for both children and adults, and the temprature is perfect. Often it is used by the Mainor family, who all like a good swim.

Ulrica walks down to the shimering water. A now rare smile plays across her face. Her hand idly goes to her long hair and pulls it back into a even rarer ponytail. Her bathingsuit is like it was years ago, black with pink kitten paw prints. It had been to long since she really enjoyed this world, as silent as it was...Amber was in the house with Dimitri for now, how long her older brother could keep the child tame is beyond her...She shakes her head and dives into the cool water.

Whether she knew or not, Max was gazing at her from the hammock which hang between two palmtrees in the garden. It had always been his favorite place to take a nap, or just lie down to think. It had a great view across the swimmingpool too.
He said nothing as Ulrica slowly walked into the water, wearing the bikini he had seen many a time before, but still loved. She hadn't asked him to come and join her, and honestly he didn't feel like getting wet. Watching her was enough for now.
She looked elegant with her hair in a ponytail, somehow less burdened by things happened in the past. Things had been quiet lately, but he knew things simply wouldn't be quiet for long around him. He was a magnet of bad luck and unexplained misfortune, and unluckily those around him suffered because of it too.
His amber eyes followed her movement slowly, lazily, his eyes halflidded as if she had awoken him from a nice nap as his hair was rather wild, some strands falling before his face as if to block his view. He did love her, he had to realise. After all he had done, after all she had done, he still loved her. It was like the only calm flowing river in his entire chaotic life which resembled a wild sea. Something good happened the night he asked her to come to the Feast of the Vampire, although she hadn't wished to come at first.
He blinked, lazily, and sighed a deep sigh. One of contentment as he rolled on his side, careful to keep his balance as the hammock swayed. he could stay here for a while in this hammock, peace surrounding his home if just for a while. He could well do that.

Ulrica slowly asends from the water. Enjoying the feel of it cascading down her body. Shuch a rare moment, and needed. Sometimes her soul ached with a pain she couldn't explain. Sometimes she thought it was all the years she had loved and lost, seeing all those you care about grow, age, and leave you. To watch the world you know crumble to your feet, your family become dust, your kingdom vanish in the blink of an eye. Living as long as her kind did...you had to learn very fast that things can come and go in a blink of an eye. And that within 100 years life can take huge drastic changes. Ones you never thought could ever happen when you were a mear mortal. Her footsteps slowly came toward Max. Her eyes distand untill she finally leaned down and kisses his forehead. A soft gental smile gracing her thin face. "Well Max, do you think we should take Advantage of Dimitri being home and take our leave for the night?"

"Won't he come after us with that katana of his for doing so?" He answered, meekly protesting as drops of water fell down from her hair, onto his face and dry clothes. It was more a reflex, he wasn't really bothered by it. After all, which man was bothered with a soaking wet woman in cute bikini so close, especially when the soaking wet woman could be called 'wife.' He lay there for just the moment, just looking at her with a silly grin which could only mean 'contentment'. His amber eyes hid a mischievous glance, as the corner of his mouth slightly twitched into a small smirk. "Or perhaps he'll come running for help because of Amber and then we won't be here to save him..." An arm slipped around her waist, pulling her onto the large hammock, making her lay down besides Max, who had a most satisfied little smirk on his lips.

Ulrica lets out a soft laugh and shakes her head. "No his pride will keep him where he is...Ryu made sure he had...well a little to much" She lets out a soft snort and nuzzles near him. Taking in the night air and garden. Listioning to the wolves sing their song in the forest they had created. Her smile was small and happy. "But it is good for a few moments of silence."

"It is a pity that those few moments of silence can be so easily disturbed." The click of Amrod's cane on the stones was te first thing they heard as the voice echoed in the shadows, before the tall man with the ravenblack hair stepped into the ligh of the garden. Amrhod's quirked an eyebrow, as if shocked at the sight before him. "I am disturbing you two?" He asked in a teasing way.

Ulrica raises her head and lets out a short loud snort. "Just a bit old friend....what is it that you need?" She tilts her head and looks at Max with a mild pout before trying to climb out of the hammock. Grace was a art of hers...but grace lost itself in this thing.

"Nothing in particular, just stopping by because my god, I haven't seen you two in three days!" He said with the most serious smile on his lips, before he reached out and helped Ulrica out of the hammock. He remembered that Max was very fond of the thing, but ever since Amrhod could no longer walk without a cane and sometimes lay in bed for nights on end, he refused to ever lay down on such a thing again. "Just a social visit, if you want to call it that. Family visit." He said, an apologetic smile creeping on his face. "Perhaps I should have called."

"Rarely are there ever social visits Amrhod...." She takes a towel and wraps herself up in one. "Should I leave you and your brother to talk?" She raises an eyebrow and starts to walk toward the house.

"Well, for just this once I actually meant what I said." Amrhod said, raising his eyebrows in disbelief as he heard those words. "Can't an 'old friend' as you put it not just visit?" Perhaps he had to discuss a thing or two, but it could wait, as he did not think of it as important. It could hardly be called important, all Max had to do was hunt some werewolves in London, but that could wait. "Or am I truly disturbing your evening and have I said something wrong..?" He asked, a little less certain as he glanced from Ulrica to Max.

"No, not at all Amrhod...just over the years, you just get used to things being a certian way. The only ones who visit Max and I on a normal basis is our children." She shrugs and smiles softly. "I am sorry."

"Well of course you may visit Amhrod, but first, usually it is us visiting you instead of otherwise, and if you ever come to here mirrors break, you need me to do something for you or you've been magically altered in some mean fighting machine... I mean; it's perfectly normal that you come and visit." Max rolled out of the hammock, with obviously more grace and style as his wife had done. "But of course you are welcome.." He said, glancing at Ulrica with a frown as he heard her words. "Of course do not only our children visit.." He said between clenched teeth. "We are far more populair than that..."

Ulrica just shrugs and shakes her head with a smile while walking away. "Is there anything I can get for you boys?" Her voice calls out, as her head turns before she enters the house. Her head tilted to one side again. "If not, I will retire to the bedroom and put much proper clothing on, call on Dimitri and Amber, and inform them their Uncle is here on a visit."
