Name: Jonathan "Josh" McArthur
Place of Origin: London, England
Age: 19 years old
Sexe: Male
Personality: Jonathan was, before he became a Vampire, a spontanious lad always in for some fun or mischief. But now that he has been made a Vampire, torn away from the world he knew into a cold, lonely and desolate place, his temper has grown easy. He is friendly, sometimes perhaps timid, and mostly still trying to find out who this new Josh is.
Appearence: Josh has short, blonde hair, a strong jawline and not at all an ugly face. His is muscular, having worked out a lot when he was a mortal. Usually wearing jeans and t-shirts, nothing too complicated. His eyes are violet, which makes him a rare sight.
History: Jonathan McArthur was born 1987 in London as only child. His parents, both working for their living, were not often at home. Living in Camden Town Josh soon discovered the fun on the streets, visiting the many markets as a child, and soon as he grew older as a teenager. He made friends, loved mischief and fun, and wasnt afraid of a joint, and a beer or two.
His demise as a mortal came at a night when a party had been organized in Camden Town London, having asked a girl to come along he and his friends soon found themselves partying.
Only they were not the only ones who was enjoying the party. Another gang of friends, rivals of Jonathan and his friends. Soon they noticed each other, starting to harass each other, untill a fight would come of it.
They both agreed on a fight outside, not wanting too much trouble. The fight started near the waterbusses, near the murky water. It seemed the gang of Jonathan would win, untill one of the rival gangmembers, a boy only fourteen, drew a gun and shot.
As if it had meant to be so, Jonathan got the full hit, tumbling in the water. Knowing the gunshot had been heard both gangs fled, wanting no contact with the police.
And so Jonathan struggled underwater, fighting the pain and the bloodloss, fighting to live. A hand finally grabbed his jacket, pulling him up, onto the docks. He gasped for breath, but his lungs felt heavy, as if they were quitting slowly.
"Do you wish to live?" His rescuer asked, and afraid of death Jonathan knew nothing else to say but yes.
A sharp pain in his neck followed, and he felt even fainter, untill the most heavenliest of liquor entered his mouth, and although he had no idea what it was he drank eagerly, before descending into eternal darkness.
He woke the next evening, feeling no pain, only smelling the faulest of stenches. He was lying on a heap of old blankets, in the dark. He had no idea where he was, all he remember was the gunshot, and the voice.
He sat up, searching for the exit. He felt strange, he could see through the darkness, and he was thirsty, but not for cola nor beer. He was thirsty, but had no idea what he wanted.
He could see perfectly in the dark, and soon found the door, but he wasn't sure whether he should go or not.
He was becoming sick of the stench.
And finally the door opened, and a man his lenght stepped into the dark room, lightening it as he touched the switch.
The light blinded Jonathan at first, everything seemed so bright.
"You'll get used to it soon, you'll get used to everything soon." A gentle, warm voice replied.
"Who are you? What happened?"
"The previous night you were shot, you were dying. I saved you." The light dimmed, and finally Josh could see the face of his rescuer. It wasn't the prettiest of faces, rather broad, with wild brown hair and... and violet eyes.
No human had violet eyes. And now the man took up a plastic bag from the ground, taking a new pair of jeans out.
"Your clothes are too filthy to ever wear again, I bought you some new. I hope they fit." He accepted the jeans and the t-shirt. He could feel the cold in what seemed a basement, but it didnt bother him.
"What are you?"
The man smiled a little, handing him the T-shirt. "I am a Vampire, so are you."
Hearing the words, Josh had no idea what to do with the information, so he said nothing.
"You are an immortal now Josh, just as I. Your body rejected everything a mortal body needed. You won't need anything now, no water, no food. All you need is blood, for which you probably are thirsty."
Blood, the taste of the liquor yesterday, now he recognized the smell and taste.
"Why??" Josh asked, "Why have you made me a Vampire?"
The man, the Vampire shrugged. "You were dying, I gave you the choice. And you accepted. There is nothing you can do about it now." he smiled. "You look rather disgusted, but don't worry. It is not as bad as it sounds. But right now, you need to feed, or you will probably faint..."
He opened the door a little wider, a small girl, woman was standing there, looking thin, dehidrated. A little whore, probably ran away from home. Josh had seen them before, but what did the man want?
"Come Josh, I will show you have to feed."
"Feed? What do you mean?"
"Drink her blood of course, you are thirsty, aren't you?"
Josh eyes widened in shock, but his body reacted. The promise of blood made his heart twitch, made his mouth dry, but he knew what it meant. She would die.
"No, I don't want too.."
"You have too." The man insisted, taking the girls hand. "You're fangs aren't fully grown yet, let me rip the skin for you.."
"NO!" Before Josh knew it, he had pushed the man,a nd the girl away, with a strenght he didn't knew he had, and spurted away, through the exit, into the night of Camden Lock, away, away from the murderer.
