Ryu lets out a very large snot and glares down at Max. His eyes narrowing. "And you must know because?" He stops and looks straight ahead. His breathing becoming steady. "And don't think of putting a bid in Max, your wife would really kill you then." A smile crosses his face for a split second, his breathing finally back in place. His foot steps echoing, hitting a big harder on the stone then normal.

"Oh, I can still place in a bid, I simply know you would want to double it anyway... You and you're darned pride, you simply don't know how to loose..." But okay, he had apoint there. "You're more evil than I am Ryu, she's my niece for God's sake.. Of course, Uli was Amrhod'd fledgling but that's something else.." Ryu had him there, and Max snorted.
"Just don't like the thought of some icky Japanese man fiddling with my daughter..." Well, she still was sort of, although Amrhod was the biological father, he had cared for the twin since they had been born. "And we both know mizuage's aren't chosen Ryu, I don't think anyone gave her a real choice in this..'

His eyes narrowed even more as he looked back at Max. "Her time is up, yes, she has to give in or not become a Geisha." His footsteps were harder even. "An no unknown male will "fiddle" with Hope." His voice was hard, his words finall. No other japanese man had more money then he did....He made sure of that.

Woo, someone got pissed, and Max chuckled inwardly as he noticed the agitated steps of the Japanese Lord. Max decided just to tease a little more, after all, how many times in an immortal lifetime would he get to see a jealous Japanese Lord. "Oh? How can you be so sure? I've heard that Hope has become quite popular as a Geisha, I am sure she has a few fans too."
Ulrica was probably going to kill him for even saying this, but ah well. He was sure that if Hope had to choose between the Lord of Japan, or a stranger she had met now and then on a party she had attended, she would choose Ryu above all. Not to mention what Amrhod would do, he probably knew nothing about Mizuage's.

Ryu's head finally turned, and murder was in his eyes. He let out a very loud huff and stoped mid stride. His figure stood as tall as it could, his breathing, well as even as he could keep it. "Do you really wish to discuss this matter further Max? Or do you like the idea of all of this?" He huffed again and began to move toward Hope's door, nocking lightly.

Max had an innocent look in his eyes as Ryu glared daggers at him, but he disguised it well with a perfect pupydog eyes look. "I got no idea why you are upset about all this..." Of course he did, but he was just teasing. "I still don't understand why Hope chose to be a Geisha instead of a Samurai tho." He waited patiently before the door for Hope to open as Ryu knocked on the door. He could figure it himself perhaps, after all, Hope wasn't the real Samurai kind. Perhaps a bit too sweet, no sword in her hands could wipe that innocence from her. Placing a bid himself? Ewww, even the thought was disgusting. Plus, the thought of being killed didn't appeal to him, in her anger Ulrica could be formidabel. "I can't stay long tho, the same woman you just spoke about would surely kill me again if I stay away from home for too long..." He shrugged. "Motherly instincts I guess.."

Ryu just let out a loud snort and turns on his heals hard. Looking back only once. "Just remeber to keep your hands to your own person Max." His footsteps start to recide deeper into the temple...though before he was out of sight, his body turns, his long black hair billowing around him. A dark smile curving up his face, his eyes norrowing even more. "And don't forget that your wife and I are good friends, if you wish to keep your skin....I think you should keep certian things between the two of us." He finally fades into the darkness of the hallway.
